The Open Ameland Cross Triathlon Championships 2012 will take place on Saturday September 15 and will have the following categories:

DC Cross Elite Men (OAK Cross Senioren)
DC Cross Elite Women (OAK Cross Senioren)
DC Cross Elite Age-Group

swim: 1500 m– mountainbike: 35 km – run: 12 km

The recreational series:

Tri-Ambla L
swim: 1000 m– mountainbike: 35 km – run: 12 km.
Tri-Ambla M
swim: 500 m– mountainbike: 20 km – run: 6 km.
Tri-Ambla XXX - Unive Teamtriatlon XXX
swim: 1000 m– mountainbike: 35 km – run: 12 km.
For teams with a minimum of two participants.
Tri-Ambla MMM- Unive Teamtriathlon MMM
swim: 500 m– mountainbike: 20 km – run: 6 km.
For teams with a minimum of two participants.

Tri-Ambla Junior:

Tri-Ambla S
swim: 125 m – mountainbike: 10 km – run: 2,5 km.
For kids born in 1996 to 2000
Tri-Ambla XS

swim: 75 m – mountainbike: 5 km – run: 1,25 km.
For kids born in 2001 to 2004

Participants will swim in the sea (except for the kids of S and XS, they swim in a swimmingpool)) and will bike and run through the woods, dunes, meadows and on the beach. The European Championships will be held under the auspices of and according the rules of the Dutch Triathlon Union (NTB).

For registration of the swim-, bike- and run times the AMB time registration system will be used. Every participant is obliged to wear a transponder (light-weight chip) around the ankle (not under the wetsuit). AMB transponders (Activ) will be made available by the organization on the day of the race. For technical reasons it is not possible to use your own AMB transponder.
